Keeping Up With Kris
Kris Jenner, mother of Kim Kardashian, Kylie Jenner, Khloé Kardashian, Kendall Jenner, Kourtney Kardashian and Rob Kardashian is undoubtedly the most effective (lack of) talent manager in history.
Collectively the family wields more reach than most media organisations and in Kylie she has nurtured the worlds youngest billionaire.
Now, a new industry has sprung up where pushy parents can pay agencies to promote their own offsprings (lack of) talent in order to build their followings on social media channels such as Instagram and Facebook. One such is Viral Talent whos director Alex Chavez (yes, that is Chav with an e and a z at the end) says, "Successful influencers are children who are natural on camera and who show their personality."
Psychologists have warned however that this lifestyle causes people to seek validation in likes and view counts as can be seen on the Netflix American Meme film.
What are these parents thinking?
