When Ursula Stones friend died with no money she went to the supermarket and took the flowers that they were throwing out as beyond their sell by date and made a wreath out of them.
Inspired, she launched The Flower Bank which is a social enterprise that uses flowers that would otherwise be sent to landfill and makes arrangements for less fortunate elements of society such as dementia sufferers.
The scent has in many cases helped to evoke powerful memories for some of the sufferers
Ursula now hopes to take a dilapidated high street shop and turn it into a florist.
