Ruthless segmentation builds profits and pisses off local tourist board.
Mark Galpin is today's business hero. He erected this sign in his antique shop in Christchurch, Dorset after noticing that elderly coach bound day trippers filled his shop but never bought anything as they couldn't get it on the coach.
His profits have subsequently increased and his local tourist board say he's eccentric and depressing them.
You would imagine a more constructive approach might be to offer a delivery service to his tourist audience or sell some smaller items that could be more easily transported.
